New VPN Instructions

Connecting to the new VPN is very similar to the old one.

First, click the up arrow to the left of the icon tray (at the bottom right of your screen, where the time, battery, and internet icons are).
Then, click the grey globe icon

You will then get a pop-up like the one below. Type “globalprotect.athenstech.edu” in the ‘Portal’ box if it is not already there. Then, click ‘Connect’.

After you click ‘Connect’, you will get an OKTA login screen like you do when trying to sign into any Athens Tech resource. Sign in.

Then, you’re done. If you check the globe in the tray again, it should look like the picture below.
